A warrant has been issued for the arrest of John Polichronopoulos, head of the Athens detective force, on a charge arising out of the attempted assassination of M. Venizelos. Other warrants are pending.

“King” Spada, the one-time notorious Corsican bandit who was arrested on May 28 at prayer was sentenced to two years and fined 1000 francs for being in illegal possession of firearms. He will be tried in November for alleged murders.
