PIO PiO BRANCH. A large attendance of members witnessed a demonstration of wool quilt-making in the Pio Pio Town Hall on Thursday last. Mrs. C. K. Wilson introduced Mrs. Olsen (Waitomo) to those present, and the latter then explained the washing, drying and carding process, and showed how to proceed with the making of the wool quilt. Mrs. Petch proposed a hearty vote of thanks and appreciation, which was carried by acclamation. Mrs. Lee, of the Te Kuiti branch, was also present. Afternoon tea was served in the Rest Room by the Kahuwera Road ladies. Mrs. V. R. Smith was in charge of the exchange stall.
