WEDDING BELLS
HOBSON—STOREY. A very pretty wedding took place at Otorohanga on Tuesday afternoon, when Vita, youngest daughter of ' Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Hobson, Otorohanga, was married to Mr. Eric Fraser Storey, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Storey, of Te Awamutu. The Rev. S. W. Golding performed .the ceremony in St. Bride's Church, which was prettily decorated with flowers and greenery, and crowded with many friends. Miss Rhodes officiated at the organ.
The bride, who was given away by her father, looked radiant in a slimfitting gown of ivory angel-skin lace, flaring gracefully to the floor from below the knee. She wore a flowing lace veil and carried a bouquet of white chrysanthemums.
She was attended by Miss ,Trix Dinsdale and Miss Margaret Storey, who were dressed alike in Parisian rose-krinkle velvet, made on closefitting lines to the knee and flaring to the ankle. They were finished with wrap-on capes. Instead of the conventional bouquets, muffs of white velvet relieved with rose were carried. The best man and groomsman were Mr. Keith Storey and Mr. Allan Nash. A reception was held at “Te Kura,” where Mrs. Hobson received her guests in a smart costume of choco-late-brown with hat to match, and carrying a posy of violets. Mrs. Storey was gowned in wine-coloured krinkle-crepe with felt hat to tone.
