SOLDIER’S EXPERIENCE. Mr J. Taylor, a Chatham man now employed in a Thames trawler, left Meerut, India, on discharge from the Army in December, 1931. Recently he received the following letter from the military authorities:— “Dear Sir, —Information has been received from the Controller of Military Accounts (Meerut) that ai debit balance of 2d (twopence) was outstanding on your account on transfer to U.K. for transfer to Army Reserve. This amount will be deducted from your reserve pay due to you 31/3/33”
