GOLF NOTES
As previously intimated in these columns the Te Kuiti Golf Club is opening its new links at Hangatiki for play on Saturday next. Transport arrangements will be m the hands of a member of the committee, and all players not making their own arrangements for. conveyance to the links are requested to be at the Union Bank corner not later than 1.20 p.m. Medal rounds over 18 holes for men and ladies respectively have been set down for the first days play, and all players who can are requested to make an early start. Two members of the committee will be at the links to arrange the starting of play, players being requested to arrange their own partners in threesomes if possible or to hand their names in to the above committee members on arrival. No afternoon tea will be provided until the Clubhouse is erected, and no crockery or stove will be available in the meantime. The official f opening of the Club will be held on the 10th of June when it is anticipated the Clubhouse will be erected.
