TE KUITI HARRIERS
There was a good attendance of members on Saturday last, when the Club held the usual cross-country run. The pack, led by W. B. McNaught, set out from Riverside Hotel, and on reaching the old limeworks, went
across country until a point opposite the racing stables was reached. From there a descent was made on a stretch of very rough land.
The run in, which was staged over a distance of 225 yards, resulted: — J. D. Collins Ist, E. McKenzie (25yds) 2nd, H. Edgar (25yds) 3rd. There was a strenuous tussle for premier honours and E. McKenzie, who has
been very consistent of late, was rather unlucky to lose. W. Cairns finished out of a place, and since the opening run has not shown a semblance of last year's excellent form. The club takes this opportunity to welcome to its ranks additional members, and to advise them to get in touch with Mr. W. B. McNaught.
