BASKETBALL DANCE. (Own Correspondent.) The Pio Pio Town Hall presented a gay scene on Tuesday night last, when members of the Basketball Club held their annual dance. The snappy music played by Mr. Swift’s orchestra kept the dancei*s going till after midnight. Mr. P. Bowyer acted as M.C., and Mesdames Andrews, Topp, Coates and Webb were in charge of the supper. The Monte Carlo waltz was won by Miss A. Dempsey and Mr. F. Smyth.
