Junior Championship. Miss Hitchcock won by default from Mrs. Home; Miss Barker won by default from Miss Allison; Miss Frerichs won by default from Miss Smith; Miss Darvell beat Miss Avery, 9—7; Mrs. Skinner beat Miss Henderson, 6—5; Mrs. Hine beat Miss Gresham, 5—4; Miss Pettigrew beat Miss Andrews, 2—l; Miss McKenzie beat Miss Sheehan, 2—l. The local championships were further advanced last Saturday, the following being the results: — Senior. —Wilson won from Hetet by default, Bathgate beat Dyason, Browne beat Johnson, Saunders beat Harrison. The draw for the semi-final is: Wilson v. Bathgate, Browne v. Saunders. Juniors. —McColl won from Were by default, Cameron beat Drake at 19th, Powdrill beat Irving, Pickering beat Podevin. Draw for the semi-final is: McColl v. Cameron, Powdrill v. Pickering to be completed by August 7. The following is the draw for the fourth aggregate, to be played on Saturday next: Tate v. Harrison, J. Hine v. Dinsdale, Johnson v. Aitken, Hetet v. Podevin, Hansen v. Hotu, Frerichs v. Drake, MeLeod v. Lynch, Allison v. Smart, Marshall v. Irving, Dyason v. Scott, Were v. Home.
