QUARRY ACCIDENT

EMPLOYEE SUSTAINS INJURIES.

While working on a face of the quarry at the Agricultural Lime Company's works on Tuesday last, Peter Yakich, aged 43, slipped and fell down the face and was struck by a piece of limestone that was dislod *d. The inmred man sustained a broken collar bone and had two ribs fractured. He was taken to the Te Kuiti Hospital, but his injuries are not of such a serious nature as to prevent him making a good recovery within a few weeks.
