MANIAPOTO v. WAIPA. FOR SOUTH AUCKLAND SHIELD. A special meeting of the Maniapoto Cricket Association was held last night to finalise the arrangements for the representative match to be played at Te Awamutu on Easter Saturday against Waipa for the South Auckland Shield.

The following Maniapoto team was submitted by the selector, Mr. F. Liddell: Arneil, Maata, Ronaldson (Pio Pio), Lusk, Hine, Walsh, Dinsdale, Liddell, Bolton, Evans (Old Boys), Davidson (Railway). Reserves: Bowick, McLeod. Mr. G. Elliott was appointed to accompany the team as umpire. The team will leave by cars for Te Awamutu at 9.30 on Saturday morning. . The following will represent Waipa: N F. Oram, N. McMahon (High School), J. Harefield, W. Shepherd (Te Awamutu), G. Bainbridge and C. Tarr (Kaipaki), R. Mexted, E. Mulgan, R. Ashton (Te Kawa), B. Beechey, R. Dalton (Lake Road), with C. Mexted as twelfth man.
