BANKS AND LAW v. STOCK FIRMS. NEXT SATURDAY'S MATCH. On Saturday next a match will be played on the Domain between the local banks and law offices and the stock firms.

The proceeds are in aid of the Maniapoto Silver Band and the Civic League, and the support of the public, therefore, is hoped for, as the cause is a worthy one. The teams will be: Banks and Law. —Fullback, Higgins; threequarters, Podevin, Tilley, Baker; five-eighths, McCarthy, Irvine; halfback, Ormsby; forwards, Cameron, Willis, Blackman, Ingpen, Dick, Churcher, Davison, Hansen. Emergencies: Archer, Marshall.

Stock Firms. Fullback, Browne; threequarters, Coates, Delaney, Olney: five-eighths, Evans, Cameron (Oto.), halfback, Bennett; forwards, Chitty, Voyce, Hislop, Lusk, Alexander,Nicholson (Oto.), Cameron (Oto.), Liddy (Oto.). Emergencies: Lambie, Liddy (Oto.), Kent-Johnson, Fenton, Cooke, Lilburne, H. D. Cooper, M. C. Stranger, E. H. W. Tapp. Programmes are now being printed, and these will be of "interest" to supporters and intending patrons at the match.
