TE KUITI DOMAIN
MEETING OF BOARD. At the conclusion of the Borough Council meeting last evening, the Council met as the Te Kuiti Domain Board and received the annual report, which stated that works carried out included an iron fence on street frontage and erection of additional convenience and cookhouse and shelter for use in conjunction with camping ground. Present improvements include community light, water laid on, dressing shed, etc. The Domain is now used for football, cricket, hockey, athletic sports, etc., and motor camping ground. Receipts and expenditure totalled £143 13s lid, as follows: Receipts: Gate percentages £4O Is Id, donation 10/6, camp fees £2B ss. Expenditure: fence £66 19s 7d, buildings £57 9s 4d. light £5, Cr. O'Connell referred to the need for sceptic arrangements being installed in connection with conveniences, a view which was shared by His Worship, who agreed that the matter should receive attention when the board had funds available.
