PIO PIO R.S.A.

ANNUAL RE-UNION. The annual re-union and smoke concert of the Pio Pio branch of the Returned Soldiers' Association, was held in the Pio Pio Town Hall on Thursday evening last, Mr. CayleyAlexander, deputy-president of the Te Kuiti R.S.A., presiding. The attendance numbered 45 diggers, representative of all branches of the service. Among those present was Mr. J. T. K. Dodds, president of the Association.

A roll call was held, and it was found that besides representatives of all branches of the N.Z.E.F., there were present men who had seen service with the Imperial and Australian forces.

During the evening "the followingtoasts were honoured:—The King, Mr. W. E. Cayley-Alexander; Absent Comrades, Mr. 0. R. Cook; The Navy, Army and Air Force, Messrs. Littlejohn and Morris; N.Z.R.S.A., Messrs. S. Ronaldson and J. T. K. Dodds; Medical and Nursing Services, Messrs. E. Larsen and CayleyAlexander. Mi*. J. Watson officiated at the piano and was ably supported by Mr. Phil Wall, violin, and Mr. J. Walker, saxophone, and Mr. Jackson, mandolin. During the evening musical items were given by the following: Cornet solo, Mr. McAuley; songs by Messrs. J. Sears, Collins, Wootton, and 0. R. Cook.
