KING COUNTRY CUP. Te Kuiti successfully defended the King Country Cup in a match with Otorohanga played on the local greens on Saturday last. The following are results of play, Otorohanga players being mentioned first; —Neshausen, Jackson, Bell, Porter (s), v. Innes, Frerichs, Henderson, McLeod (s), 18—27; Black, England, Smith, Walker fs), v. Reid, O’Connell, Tapp, Harris (s), 7—22; Walker, Hyde, Crosby, Cullum (s), v Jones, Totman, Griffiths, Holah (s), 16—23. MIDLAND CUP. In the re-challenge games for the Midland Cup (pairs), Otorohanga were succsesful in winning the trophy. Other games: Bowyer, Quinlan, Tozer, Harris (s), v. Evans, Hine,. Gilbert, Dinsdale (s), 15—20; Skinner, Langkilde, Murdoch, Stewart (s), v. Mills, Henniker, Fennell, Mahony (s), 9—23.
