EXPRESS TRAINS, CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS, 1930-1931, WELLINGTON (THORNDON)-AUCKLAND AND VICE 1. Runs daily (Sundays excepted) from 19th December to 12th January inclusive. On 23rd, 24th, and 31st December, will NOT lift passengers at Te Kuiti, Hangatiki or Te Awamutu. Passengers from these sta tions MUST travel by the 6.50 p.m. Te Kuiti-Frankton Jn. train. 2. Leaving Wellington on 19th 20th, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 26th December; also 2nd, 3rd, and sth January/ Does not stop to PICK UP passengers at stations Marton to Te Awamutu inclusive (National Park excepted). 3. Leave Wellington 19th, 20th. 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 26th December, also 2nd, 3rd, and sth January. 4. Leave Wellington 23rd and 24th December only. From 16th December to 3rd January inclusive (except on 22nd and 29th December) does no' lift passengers holding holiday Excur sion tickets from Te Kuiti and T< Awamutu. 5. Leave Wellington on 21st, 22nd 23rd and 24th December, also on 4th January. 6. Runs daily (Sundays and Christmas Day excelled) from 19th December to 12th January inclusive. 7. Not Saturdays (except 20th December). 8. Leaves Auckland 19th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 26th, 28th, 29th December, Ist, 2nd, 4th, 6th, 6th, 7th, Bth and 9th January. 9. Leaves Auckland on 22nd, 23rd December, also 2nd and 4th January. x Also runs Sundays. For further particulars of express services and connecting trains ask for booklet obtainable free at stations. On 23rd, 24th, 31st December, usual 5.50 p.m. Te Kuiti-Frankton Jn. train leaves Te Kuiti 5.15 p.m. Frankton Jun. arr 7.32 p.m. On 23rd, 24th and 31st December usual 4-16 p.m. Taumarunui-Te Khiti train leaves Taumarunui 3.30 p.m. Te Kuiti arr 6.13 p.m. On Christmas Day all trains between Frankton and Taumarunui will be cancelled with exception of Through Expresses, and following local services: 7.32 a.m. TaumarunuiFrankton, 1.30 p.m. Frankton Taumarunui. For other additions and alterations to ordinary train services from 19th December to sth January inclusive see handbill or enquire at stations. Goods traffic will be suspended on 25th; 26th December, Ist and 2nd January. 754
