EGYPTIAN TREASURE
A RICH FIND DISCOVERED. DATING FROM PHARAOHS’ TIME. (Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received 12.34 p.m.) Cairo, December 12. Twenty-three ingots of fine gold, gold and silver chains, silver pieces and a silver statue of beautiful workmanship were found by the Egyptian Exploration Society in a small house at Telelamarna. The treasure dates from the Pharaohs’ times.
The discoverers believe that the find had been hidden by a thief.
