INEXPENSIVE, APPETISING WHEATEN BISCUITS. Six heaped cups Wholemeal, 2 level teaspoons soda, 2 level teaspoons cream of tartar, 1 teaspoon salt, l lb butter, l cup sugar (if liked.) . Mix dry ingredients, rub m butter, mix with milk. Roll out thinly cut into biscuits. Bake till a golden brown. Keep in tins. You can make these so easily and they are welcome at any meal. Use Bisley’s Wholemeal Flour, 51b bags 1/9, 251 b bags G/G. At all grocers. ' 1-LZ.
