WHOLE WHEAT FRUIT CAKE. i lb butter, 5 eggs, 5 tablespoons dark brown sugar, 1 ' pkt. seeded raisins, $ lb nuts, grated rind of 1 fresh lemon or orange, 24 tablespoons Bisley’s Wholemeal, li tea.spoonus baking powder. Mix butter and sugar to a cream, add one egg at a time and beat well, add fruit, peel and nuts, and lastly Bisley’s Wholemeal Flour with baking powder. Bake in slow oven two hours. Cover with thick brown paper when cake has been in oven 1 hour. Bisley’s Wholemeal flour adds taste and richness to the cake.
