ALLEGED FORGED CHEQUE.

ISSUED AT TE KUITI. CHARGE AGAINST NATIVE. A native named Tuhaka Aropa Tiripi, of Te Kuiti, appeared before Messrs. J. Tammadge and J. F. Walsh, J.P.'s, at the local police court to-day charged with uttering a forged cheque to the amount of £lB 6s on March 7 to William Clokey, of Te Kuiti.

Tiripi was remanded to appear at Te Kuiti on Tuesday next for the preliminary hearing of the charge.
