GRANT FOR ADDITIONS. PURCHASE OF NEW SITE. The'Minister of Education, the Hon. A. H. Atmore, telegraphed the member for "Wfiitomo, Mr W. J. Broadfoot, yesterday as follows: ' Pleased to inform you that on my recommendation, Cabinet has approved a grant, and plans will be prepared for the addition of three rooms to the present school building at Te Awamutu. Cabinet has also decided to offer £IOOO towards the purchase of Bockett's site on condition that the local committee finds balance of £300."
