• "V ELDERLY MAN FINED £25. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.). Invercargill, this day. . Thomas Henry Brewer, senr., pleaded guilty and was fined £25 for using his premises as a common gambling house. The police stated that accused was an elderly man, and it was not a case for the maximum penalty.
