This week's issue of the N.Z. Sporting and Dramatic Review is sure to prove popular on account of the forthcoming Christmas race carnival. The centre pages are attractively set out with overseas subjects. The members of H.M.S. Philomel holding their annual sports at Devonport are pictured in a lively series ,while special prominences is given to the official opening of the West End Rowing Club. "Breakingup" day at the various colleges is pictured in charming sets of pictures. The frontispiece is especially chic, and the coloured supplement of Janette Gilmore, jthe dancer, is equally charming. In the miscellaneous division appears, N.Z. Airman's wedding, a page of the latest bathing suit fashions, New York's busy streets. "The Review" is on sale at all booksellers and sitationers.
