A message from Ottawa states that the revenue of Canada for the first four months of the year has increased by 13,000,000 dollars, and the expenditure has increased by 4,000,000 dollars. The total revenue was 108,000,000 dollars, and the expenditure 107,000,000. The population of Canada is estimated at 9,680,000, an increase of 139,000 on last year’s figure.
