MOTOR VEHICLE OWNERS. NUMBERS NOT LICENSED. • The number of motor vehicles regis-/ tered at the Te Kuiti Post Office for T the current year is not yet complete, and in the event of driving cars or lorries minus the proper registration plates, owners will be liable to prosecution. A large number of motorists thronged the Post Office counter late on Thursday afternoon, making a lalstniinute call to get their numbers in order to use their cars during the holidays. It is understood that prosecutions will be instituted if owners drive their cars without the new red and white plates, so they are advised not to further delay the matter. Radio owners are also notified that the period . for registration has now expired. .
