Mr Remus, in a private motor car, followed and forced the taxicab to the kerb. Mrs Remus then jumped out, with her husband in pursuit. When ho overtook her in the park hie seized her, drew her closely to him, and fired a pistol at her breast. As she sank to the pavement screaming, Remus mado bis escape, but later gave himself up to the police.
