HUMANE SOCIETY'S AWARDS.
RESCUES FROM DROWNING. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Chiistchurch, this day. The Royal Humane Society has awarded tli3 bronze medal to Thomas Ronnie, aged 17, of St. Kilda, Dun,ediii, for rescuing a man from drowning, and a letter of commendation to Alexander Zachan, a night watchman at Napier, for saving a scholboy from drowning.
