AN AUCKLAND BURGLARY.
WOMAN HIDES ON SHELF. (By Telegraph—Press Association). Auckland, this day. About midnight a watchman noticed the back door of a tearoom and drapery house smashed. He called the police and a squad surrounded the building. After a long search they found a woman of 35 lying flat on a shelf 15ft. up. A kit of tools was found later, and the police, believing that a man was concerned in the matter, made a thorough search, but without further result.
