PASSENGERS' LUCKY ESCAPE.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) (Received 10.45 a.m.) Gore, this day.

When Mr P. Hailes of Balfour, was driving home by car last night a rear tyre burst and the application of the brakes caused a capsize. The six people aboard scrambled out, and immediately afterwards the car which was a Chryssler six exploded. The fire following reduced the machine to ashes. " All the passengers escaped uninjured.
