The dewdrop clings to the roseblooin fair That fills with fragrance the noontide air; The dewdrop melts and the petals fall, For such, alas! is the fate of all. The summer wanes and the chill gray days Submerge the warmth of the sun’s bright rays, Winter once more brings colds to endure— Forget not Woods’ Great Peppermint Cure. (56)
The importation of Newcastle coal proceeds merrily in spite of the Ministerial promises made (says the Westport Times). The Rakanoa is at piesent unloading coal at New Plymouth, the Kaitangata is on the way to New Zealand fully laden, the Kauri sailed, for Newcastle on Tuesday last, and Kaitoke has just 'completed her second trip to Newcastle since she visited Westport, and lias just left again for a third load. Other vessels are running coal to the Dominion regularly, whilst the looal mines are not working at anything like 7 full capacity. Don’t ignore soreness of the throat, fullness of the eyes, sneezing, running at the nose, as they generally indicate germ infection, but use Nazol immediately and freely, and you will get relief. (7)
