Coventry, Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., will sell as above at 12 noon, his Dairy Herd, comprising—--2 pedigree Jersey coys 33 grade Jersey cows 12 grade Jersey heifers by pedigree bulls 25 S.H. and Friesian rising 2-year heifers, pastured with milking strain S.H. bull 1 2-year pedigree Jersey bull, by Jewel's Noble Prince (imp.) 4 pedigree Jersey bull calves, of which 3 are sons of a Grannie's Knight bull 1 2-year milking S.H. bull Note.—The cows and Jersey heifers are in calf to the Jersey bulls Holly Oak Lionel, son of Grannie's Knight, and Fairview Income. Dates of calving will be given at the sale. Average returns in December were: Cows, 41.851b5; heifers, 291 b butterfat. The previous season the herd ranged from 198 to 4271bs per head.
