A telegram from Baltimore says that as a result of an agreement among scientists, an American chemical society for the investigation of the fundamental causes of rust and corrosion will be established here to wage a world-wide combat against their ravages. It is estimated that snetal rust costs the United States annually 3,000,000,000 dollars.
