A French aeroplane which left Oroy- j don, England, on a recent afternoon | was saved from disaster by the cool- j ness of the mechanic, a Frenchman named Bouyer, The aeroplane, pilot- j od bv M. Cades, was carrying a cargo ; of freight. In mid-Glnuniel a leakage j suddenly appeared in an oil pipe. The j machine would have had to make a forced binding had not the mechanic gone out on tßie wing, and, with his j feet dangling in mid-air, attended to • the damage.
