LOWEST RECORD BIRTH RATE. ALSO DEATH RATE. (P ress Association. —-Copyright!. (Received 11.40 a.m.) London, January 2. The Times’ medical correspondent says that the birth rate in London during last week was 9,9 per 1000, tho lowest ever recorded. The lowest rate previously was in 1923, when it was 14 per 1000. which, curiously enough, also occurred in the last week of the year. The death rate also was I he lowest on record, being 11.2, compared with KS.9 in the last week of 1023. H was 12 in 1922 and 18.5 in 192 J.
