A BURGLAR SHOT.

BY HIS CONFEDERATE. (Press Association. — Copyright.) (Received 12.35 p.m.) Melbourne, this day. Mr Kuhn, a resident of Caulfield, on returning home early in the evening after a short absence, found a man in a bedroom. He closed with him, and while the struggle was in progress a second man entered from another room with a revolver in his hand and fired a shot. The man with whom Mr Kuhn was struggling, released his hold and rushed outside. The second man, saying lie had shot his mate, ordered Mr Kuhn to stand slill or he would shoot. He then rushed away, and both escaped. Patches of blood on the door proved that the first intruder had been wounded. The house had been ransacked but nothing stolen.
