Mr and Mrs E. M. Stranger and family will leave to-morrow by motor for Auckland where they will spend a month's holiday. Mr R. Boddy was a passenger by the Frankton train for Auckland t*is morning. Messrs D. Kennedy and A. K. Simpson are attending the Auckland wool sale. , The Rev. Father O'Byrne, of Epsom, Auckland, is the guest of Father Hunt at the Presbytery. The death has octfarred at Wellington of (Monel Robert J. Collins, 0.M.G., 1.5.0., V.D., Secretary to the Treasury, at the age of 76 years, after a lingering illness.
