A good yarding of cattle came forward with beef in full supply, and late rates wore fully maintained. We quote:— Fat steers £ll lis. to £l2 2s, fat heifers £6 os to £8 ss, fat cows £5 10s to £8 6s' cows in fresh condition £2 15s to £3 17s, large framed store cows £1 16s to £2 ss, 2-year-old Shorthorn heifers £2 14s to £3 3s, dairy cows £4 to £5, springing heifers £3 10s to £4 10s, fat lambs £1 15s. Pigs.—Medium baconers £3 3s to £3 12s, light baconers and heavy porkers £2 15s to £3 Is, light porkers £2 7s to £2 12s, large stolres £1 15s to £2, slips £1 7s to £1 12s, weaners 17s to £1 6b. WESTFIELD. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their usual weekly sale of fat stock at Westfiejd on Wednesday, 26th November, as under:—Beef.—An average yarding. Prime bullocks were penned in smaller numbers and sold at late rates. Cows comprised the bulk of the yarding *" d prices were slightly easier for this class. We quote: Extra prime ox 33s per lOOlbs, choice and prime 27s to 325. other 25s to 275, prime young cow and heifer beef made 25s to 295, other-18s to 245. Sheep.—A fair yarding, sold at advanced prices. Heavy prime wethers 37s to 39s 6d, medium prime 34s to 30s, light 30s to 335, best heavy prime ewes made 30s to 34s 6d, medium prime 27s to 295, other's 22s to 26s 6d. Lamb.—A smaller yarding sold under keen competition at advanced prices. Best heavy prime 34s to 37s 3d, medium prime 30s to 335, light 25s to 29's. Calves.—Runners £2 14s to C 4 ss, heavy vealers £2 15s to £3 10s, medium vealers £2 3s to £2 14s, light £1 4s to £2 Is, small lis to £1 2s, others 3s to 10s.
