RATING ON UNIMPROVED VALUE Otorohanga, this day. The results of the county election for the two contested ridings were as follows: —- HONIKIWI RIDING. R. H. Hill (elected) 33 D. Budden 19 MANGAORONGA RIDING. A. Lurman (elected) 128 S. J. Sanson (elected) 77 B. Cooper 53 E. H. Ouidaille 51 The following were elected unapposed: W. Irvine (Waipa), F. Potts (Te Rau-a-moa), B. Teasdale and J. T. Young (Wharepapa). The poll for the form of rating foi the county resulted in the unimproved system being carried by a large majority, the figures being:— Rating on unimproved value 278 Against 39
