EMPRESS THEATRE

What, has been described as the world's greatest picture. "The Kid," will be the star feature of the programme at the Empress and People's to-night. This picture, starring the two great fun-makers. Charlie Chaplin and the five-year-old boy wonder, Jackie Coogan, has broken records alt over the world, and was voted in America as the best picture of the year. It is six reels of roaring fun. with a touch of pathos intermingled and should not be missed. Also showing is Hoot Gibson in a thrilling Western drama. "Heading West," the last episode of "Bride 13," and the first episode of the splendid new serial, "Winners of the West." "The Kid" will be screened again on Monday night.
