MANIAPOTO RUGBY UNION.

MEETING OF COMMITTEE. DRAW FOR JUNIOR MATCHES.. The Management Committee of the Maniapoto Rugby Union met last night. A protest from the Hangatiki Club against the match on May 27 being awarded to Te Kuiti after Hangatiki had left the field, was dismissed. It was announced that next Saturday will be “Charity Saturday,” and the gate-money will be given to Sir Arthur Pearson’s Blind Memorial Fund. It was decided that, as July 1 will be the concluding day of the Queen Carnival, no competition matches shall be played on that date, but an effort will be made to hold a seven-a-side tournament at the Te Kuiti. Domain in aid of the Carnival. Owing to the fact that there is only one home ground for three junior teams in Te Kuiti, the union found that it was necessary to make a new draw for the second round of the junior competition. The following are the games which will be played in the second round, the first team mentioned in each case being the home team:— Junior Draw. June 24.—Te Kuiti A v. Te Kuiti B, Pio Pio A v. Otorohanga, Hangatiki v. Pio Pio B, Nehenehe a bye. July B.—Pio Pio B v. Te Kuiti' A, Nehenehe v. Otorohanga, Hangatiki v. Pio Pio A, Te Kuiti B a bye. July 15.—Te Kuiti B v. Pio Pio A, Pio Pio B v. Nehenehe, Otorohanga v. Hangatiki, Te Kuiti A a bye. July 22. —Pio Pio A v. Te Kuiti A, Te Kuiti B v. Pip Pio B, Hangatiki v. Nehenehe, Otorohanga a bye. July 29.—Te Kuiti A v. Otorohanga, Hangatiki v. Te Kuiti B, Pio Pio A v. Nehenehe, Pio Pio B a bye. August s.—Pio Pio Bv. Otorohanga, Nehenehe v. Te Kuiti B, Hangatiki v. Te Kuiti A, Pio Pio A a bye. August 12.—Nehenehe v.
