WELLINGTON WOOL SALE. WRIGHT,, STEPHENSON'S REPORT. Limited, report:—The third sale of the season was held in the Wellington Town Hall on Friday, when a total catalogue of 25,000 bales was offered by all brokers. There was a good attendance of buyers and competition was very keen throughout the sale. Our catalogue comprised an average selection with no outstanding wools execept lambs. As compared with the January sale, Merino, and halfbreds,, Corriedales and fine crossbreds were on a par. There were very few lots suitable for America. Medium crossbreds were on a par with last sale for average and inferior lots, while super lots were easier. Coarse crossbreds were in sellers' favour, while low crossbreds showed %d per lb advance. Lambs were keenly sought after, showing a general advance of from Id to l%d per lb. Bellies and pieces were in very good the best sorts being taken by Continent, and showing an advance of %d to Id per lb. Crutchings sold very well, showing a rise of from par to %d per lb. Seedy pieces were very hard of sale. Coarser Halfbred. —Average 9%d to 10%d, inferior 7%d to 9d. Corriedale. —Super 12d to 13%d, average lid to 12d, inferior 8d to 9%d. Fine Crossbred.—Super B%d to 10 %d, average 7d to B%d, inferior 4%d to 6d. Medium Crossbred.—Super 8d to 9%d, average 5%d to inferior 4%d'to 5%d. Coarse Crossbred.—Super 6d to 7%d, average 5%d to 6%d, inferior 4d to 5y 2 d.

Low Crossbred*—Super 4%d to 6d, average 4%d to 5%d, inferior 3d to 4%d.

Hoggets.—Fine 8d to lOd, medium 6d to 9d, coarse 5d to 6%d, low 4d to 5%d. Lambs.—Down lOd to 10%d, fine 7%d to 10%d, medium 6d to B%d, seedy and inferior, all grade 2d to sd.

Bellies and Pieces. —Merino, good to super 8d to lOd, low to medium 6%d to 7d; halfbred, good to super Q't/zd to Bd, low to medium 3%d to 5%d; crossbred, good to super 4%d to 7d, low to medium l%d to 3%d.

Crutchings.—Medium to good 3d to 4d, inferior and seedy Id to 2d. Locks.—Merino 2%d to Sy 2 d, crossbred Id to l%d.
