Public Notices. BOROUGH OF TE KUITI. In the matter oi' “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920,” and “The Rating- Act, 1908.” RATES 1921—1922. PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Te Kuiti Borough Council, in pursuance of the provisions of Sections 77 to 95 of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920,” and Sections 48 to 55 of! “The Rating Act, 1908,” and amendments thereto, and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, at a Special Meeting to be held in the Council Chambers, Rora Street, Te Kuiti, on THURSDAY, the 30th day of June, 1921, at 7.30 p.m. to make and levy the following rates for the rating period Ist April, 1921, to 31st March, 1922. 1. A General Rate of Twopence halfpenny (2%d) in the £ on the Unimproved Value of all rateable properties on the Valuation Roll of the Borough. 2. A Special Rate (£30,000 Various Works Loan) of One Penny farthing (l%d) in the £ on the Unimproved Value of all rateable properties. 3. A Special Rate (£14,300 Streets Improvements and Water Supply Loan) of Three Farthings (%d) in the £ on the Unimproved Value of all rateable properties. 4. A Special Rate (£2OOO Stone Crushers Loan) of One-eighth of a penny (l-8d) in the £on the Unimproved Value of all rateable properties. 5. A Special Rate (£6650 River Deviation Loan) of One farthing (%d) in the £ on the Unimproved Value of all rateable properties. 6. A Special Rate (£3600 Te Kuiti 2B Roads and Bridge) of One penny and One-eighth (l i-8d) in the £ on the Unimproved Value of £50,000, Special Rating Area Te Kuiti 2B Flat. 7. A Separate Water Rate of One half-penny (%d) in the £ on the Unimproved Value, in accordance with Section 84 of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920.” 8. A Separate Hospital Rate of One farthing (% d) in the £ on the Unimproved Value, in accordance with “The Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act, 1909,” and amendments thereto. The said rates to be payable in each case in one sum upon the Ist day of August, 1921, at the Borough Council Offices, Rora Street, Te Kuiti, to F. Edward Lamb, the Council’s Collector, or to such other person as may be from time to time appointed to collect the same. The Estimates upon which the whole of the above rates are being made and levied having been approved by the Council, are together with the Valuation Roll, open for inspection at the Town Clerk’s Office, Rora Street, Te Kuiti, between 9.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. on all business days of the week except Saturdays, when they shall be open for inspection between the hours of 9.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. F.
