A LUCKY FIND.

£SOO IN A PICTURE. WAGGA, April 20. An unexpected treasure in an old work of art was discovered by a Wagga furniture dealer yesterday. Mr R. G. Nesbitt, of Bayliss street, some years ago purchased at a sale, at a cost of a few shillings, a framed picture. He is now moving to new premises, and the picture, amongst other things, was being relegated to the scrap heap. His young son, Neville, under instructions to take the picture out, began to pull it to pieces, and found in the back of the frame what he thought to be a £1 bank note. Taking it to his father, the latter found the note to be of 'the value of £IOO. He pursued the search and found four other notes of equal value stored away between the packing and the painting, the total find amounting to £SOO.
