"THE BIRTH OF A NATION."
The great motion picture, "The Birth of a Nation," will be screened at the Empress Theatre on Monday, October 30tb, 1916, under the direction of J C. Williamson, Ltd. The picture necessitates the carrying of about two tons of property and a staff of seven, including expert electricians, operators, engineers, and musicians. Wherever the picture has been shown it has created a sensation, and to save disappointment to patrons the management of the Empress will arrange a box plan. The details of the screening, etc., will be advertised later.
