60 KILLED AND WOUNDED
SMALL DWELLINGS DETROYED
London, Thursday. It is officially repotted that three Zeppelins visited the Eastern Counties last night and dropped bombs. The anti-aircraft guns were in action, and aeroplanes went up but were unable to locate the airships. Fifteen small dwellings were either demolished or aerioußly damaged. Many doorß and windows wore broken, and several fires were started, but were promptly extinguished. No other serious damage was done. Two men, three women, and five children were killed, four men, eleven women and five children were seriously wounded, and nine men, five women, and nine children were slightly wounded. One man and two women are missing, and are believed to be buried under the debris. The total casualties were 56, all civilians, except one soldier, reported seroiously wounded. LONDON BOMBED. 20 KILLED, 86 WOUNDED. London, Thursday. The Government Official Press Bureau reports that Zeppelins flew over London on Wednesday night, dropping bombs on various districts. Twelve men, two women and six children were killed, eight men, four women, and two children were Beriously wonded, thirty-eight men, twenty-three women and eleven children were slightly wounded. Among the casualties were four soldiers, of whom one was killed. Several fires broke out, but all ware got under control by the Bre brigades.
