AWAKING COUNTY COUNCIL. NOTICE OF INTENTION TO STRIKE RATE. OTCE iq hereby given that it is the intention of the Awakino County Council at its next meeting to be held on Saturday, the 25th day of September, 1915, in accordance with Section 117 of the Counties Act, 1908, and amendments thereto, and Sections 48 to 55 of the Rating. Act, 1908, and amendments thereto, to make and levy a General Rate of Three Farthings in the Pound on the Unimproved value of all ratable property situated within each Riding of the County separately, namely: the Awakino, Mahoenui, Waikawau, Fuketiti, Mangaohae, and Marokopa Ridings. Such rate to be for the period commencing on the first day of April, 1915, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1916, and to become due and payable in one sum on the 9th day of October, 1915. The valuation Rolls will be open for inspection at the County Office, Pio Pio, from Saturday, the 11th day of September, 1915, to Saturday, the 25th September, 1915, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. It is further notified that the following Special Rates will be levied for the same period:— Waitanguru Special Rating Area — Four and Three-oighths pence in the Si. Waipawa Special Rating Area — Five-eighths of b penny in the £ GEO. BROWN. County Clerk. Dated this 11th day of September, 1915. UNRESERVED Clearing Sale.
