STANDARD OF RECRUTS RAISED. DOMINIONS WILL NEVER FORGET. London,, Sunday. The Times' military correspondent, in response to German allegations regarding the failure of recruiting, says:—■ "We have 1,200,000 men m organied for war in Britian at (ho present moment, and bo many are offering that Lord Kitchener has been compelle.l to raise the standard above any existing in Europe, otherwise he would be overwhelmed with recruits. ' All our men are of military age. and there aro no children or greybeards, so ",ommon in the Gunman armieo. "It stands to reason that an Empire with four hundred millions can never lack men. The Dominions ovcraanß have come to manhood and neck to establish their cluim to recognition, each for his own Doinion, but all for all. It will go hard with Germany. Her misdeeds will never bo forgotten in the Dominions."
