LONDON WOOL SALES. The wool sales have been fixed for November 3rd for arrivals to Septemer SOth; and alao for December Bth, the list closing on November 30th. The firßt aeries in 1915 will be on January 19th, the list closing on the 11th. Thereafter, there will be frequent sales, aa circumstances require. Of the wool sold at the recent sales, the Home trade took 40,500 bale 3, the Continent 2000, American buyers nil, and 8500 bales were held over. The Bradford market is very strong Topmakers are reluctant to quote. WELLINGTON WOOL SALES. The Wellington Wool-brokera' Association has decided that in the interests of woolgrowers the original programme of sales should be carried out. The sales, therefore, will be held on November 18th, December 11th, January 6th, and February 2th, while a further sale will ba held in March on a date to be fixed The opinion generally prevails among brokers that payable prices will be obtainable for the current season's clip. The association has already received assurances that all availabla buying power will be reprcaentd at the Dominion wool salse. It has also been decided to approach the marine underwriters for some remission of the recent increase in in surance rates.

Prime bullocks £l4 to £l4 17s 6d lighter £l3 2s 6d to £l3 7s 6d, veal era 25s to 365, prime wethers 24s to 24s 2d, prime hea?y wethers 25a sd, lighter 23s 3d, light 21s, prime heavy ewes 23a 6d to 24s 9d, prime ewes 2s, light ewes and wethers 19a 4d, prime lambs 15a 8d to 16s 2d, lighter 14a 9d to 15a. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report as follows: — We held our usdal tri-monthly sale in the Te Anga yards on 6th inst., where we had a extra large yarding of steers, which all changed hands at satisfactory prices. Wa quote:— Yearling steers 32s to £3 3g, 20 months steers £3 13s to £4 4s, two and a half to three year steers £4 5a to £6 ss, three and a half year steers £8 Is, store cowa £4 15s, fat cows £B, springers £4 Is to £5. We held our usual monthly stock sale in the Te Aroha yards on 96h inßt., when we report having held a successful sale. We quote Woolly hoggets small 15s, mixed yearlings £2 14s to £2 18s, empty two year heifers £3 12s to £3 19s, st )re cows £4 17s to £5 7s fat cows, light £6 to £7, medium £7 15s, heavy £8 17s 6d, springing heifers £3 15s to £5 15s, springing cows £6 5s to £6 15s, yearling bulls 18s to 475. On 10th inst., we held our bull Bale and special cattle sale in the Te Awamutu yards, and report having had a very successful sale, al hough as many bulls as were anticipated did not come forward. We quotetwo year Shorthorn bulls 10 to 174gns, 18 months do. 6 to 8 gns., grade bull-* 5£ to 6£gns, Jersey bulls sto s|gns, yearling bulls 2to 2ggs, store cows £3 5s to £5 4s, fresh conditioned cows £7 Is, yearlings £2 7s to £2 19s, two to two and a half year heifers £3 93 to £4 10s, dairy heifers £5 10s to £6 dairy cows £7 to £7 12s 6d. The Farmers' Co-operative Auetoineering Co., Ltd.. report: — At Tp Kuiti on the 7tb / inst., we yarded 1245 cattle and 347 sheep. Competition was feeeen throughout, and we quitted most of the yarding.
