The honour of the Army was in his keeping, ani he had safeguarded the trust reposed in him. The Prosecutor, in his address, Baid Von Reuter acted in good faith, but unconsciously usurped the police authority. He had violated the law by imprisoning citizens instead of handing them over to thß civil authorities.
