The latest German society fad consists of photographs mounted on the unger-nail. The idea arose with a cousin of the Kaiser, who had an enamelled photograph of his fiancee on the nail oV the little linger. The job is one for the professional manicures, who have a method of rendering the nail virtually waterproof by a coating of shellac.
