PIO PIO'S MEDICAL NEEDS.
. —. THE RESIDENTIAL SITE. UNSUITABLY SITUATED. A deputation Irom the Pio Pio Medical Association, consisting of Messrs Wall and Body, waited on the Waikato Hospital Board on Thursday to object to the site chosen for the erection o£ a doctor's residence which was inconveniently situated, being about a mile and a-half from Pio Pio up a muddy hill, and away from the main junct ion. The late secretary, Mr Wall pointed out, had expressed rather his own views than those of the committee, and the site, had been practically selected by the late secretary himself. At a meeting held last week, it was decided by 55 to 13 that the site was unsuitable. Mr Boddie asked that assuming that the board decided to abandon the present site, would the money be available immediately? Mr Wall gave his undertaking that it would. Dr Kenny suggested referring the whole matter to Dr Douglas for a report.
